I can't fault our stay at this lovely b&b. Great location for exploring the Elan Valley. Warm welcome on arrival. Reception area clean and tidy. Our room was a good size, clean, well furnished and decorated. The tea and coffee arrangements the best I've ever experienced. Fresh milk on arrival, no plastic pots. Bathroom spacious, the shower cubicle roomy and a decent flow from the head. The bed was super comfy, great night's sleep. The breakfast was exceptional, great quality and plenty of it. I didn't need to eat again till the evening. Will definitely visit again if I'm ever in that part of Wales again.
Fabulous, fabulous stay! Liz and Dick are wonderful hosts who really want to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. It's like staying with family. In five minutes you feel like you've been friends all your lives. Rooms are large, super clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
Very accessible location. Within walking distance of anywhere in Rhayadar. Street parking. Apartment type room with shower, jacuzzi, sepetate toilet. Great personal service from Dickie the owner. Comfy bed. Full, huge English breakfast. Very comfortable.

Mark and Lynn own this beautiful, friendly quite peaceful B&B. You could not ask for a more beautiful clean room with everything you need. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud...very well priced but will book direct next time...Nice bar...Good parking.. Breakfast is huge its enough to keep one going till later afternoon...will definitely definitely be booking to stay again for longer
Stayed here whilst on a motorcycle tour up into Wales. Accommodation is great with everything you need. The place is clean and tidy and the host was extremely helpful. There is undercover parking available for motorcycles with anchor points to attach locks. The local village is great for pubs and places to eat and there is some superb local riding to be had. Would highly recommend.
Everything was brilliant- we had the twin room. The surrounding countryside and view is spectacular. Lovely host, lovely breakfast. Quality furnishings. Nice and quiet. The only thing was one twin bed was overly soft. But the other bed was medium.
A friendly welcome from the owner Dick, fantastic b&b! Had absolutely everything we wanted after a good day's hiking in the mountains. The furnishings are the very best along with an excellent cooked breakfast, that will set you up for the day. We travel to Snowdonia from Somerset 3 times a year & I can see Bryn Derwen becoming our go to stop-over. Highly recommend, you will leave very happy! See you soon Dick Regards Baz n William
